It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to our School which is divinely guided and with a global vision of reaching the Unreached through well qualified Christian servant leaders.

As we know that the Churches in India are growing in a much faster pace than ever before and many of them are maturing as well. So there is an intense need felt in the Christian community about developing well qualified and passionate servant leaders. Over the last few years God is strengthening Disciples Theological Seminary (DTS) to bless the nation through preparing servant leaders.

DTS does it by training leaders who are passionate about God and God's people. Key to our interest lies in integrating knowledge and skills to rightly interpret the word of God. Our desire is to prepare servant leaders with intellectual capability guided by the Holy Spirit to deal with various kinds of challenging theological questions in the present day scenario in India.

Disciples Theological Seminary (DTS) is an academic centre of theology. DTS takes seriously its responsibility to offer high-quality courses and education events. It conceives theological education as a means to understanding the Gospel in the Indian context. It evolves praxis-oriented method of learning, so as to prepare students for pastoral & other Christian ministries. It encourages freedom of critical reflection and research through seminars, consultations, workshops, training programs and publications.

The academic year of the College is from June to April every year, where all the Courses - Bachelor of Theology (3 years), Master of Divinity (2/3 years), Master of Theology (2 years Semi residential) as per the regulations of the Asia Theological Association in affiliation with Ebenezer Theological Seminary ( Vengoor) . The central office is located at Panvel in Navi Mumbai, Maharastra. It has got its branch in Goa, Mumbai, Himachal and planning to initiate in different parts of the world

We follow the semester system. Each Semester consists of five months. The students are expected to attend the lectures, present seminar papers and write assignments besides passing the final examinations in each semester, in order to qualify for the next semester. The fees for the various programmes at DTS are very reasonable as compared to many other institutions.

The philosophy of teaching-learning at DTS in the post graduate level is also led by research. We encourage students to take challenges of societal and church related needs and look for possible solutions through the information that they learn in their regular classes and from available resources. We do provide resources in the form of books (hard and soft copies) and access to our vast internet Library. This methodology is not only inculcated in various post graduate programs but also in undergraduate studies as well.

As a faculty, we are committed to create a healthy learning environment where research also plays a great role. We are also committed to impart the best knowledge and practices. Students are expected to stay focused and get maximum possible knowledge from a set of learned faculty. The staff of this college plays a great role in moulding (young and old, experienced and inexperienced) minds of the students and in upholding the academic traditions of this college. Like someone said, ‘We just don’t cook fish for the students but we teach them the art of fishing’.

The Academic office has a broader responsibility for the academic affairs of the college. From time to time the office may issue instructions for carrying out the regulations relating to academic requirements of all undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the college. The Dean's Office oversees academic spaces and leads planning for classroom design and renovation and academic buildings. The office also supports the faculty governance structure of the College.
